Far Resources sampled all pegmatite intersected in drill core.  Samples were selected by the geologist on site, sample widths were a minimum of 0.3m to a maximum of 1.5m and were selected based on visual spodumene content.  Care was taken not to cross lithological, structural, or altered boundaries.  In cases where sulphides (such as pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite) were noted, samples were selected for fire assay analysis.  Samples selected for analysis were sawn in half, with half the core placed back in the core box and the remaining half placed in a labelled sample bag with a unique sample number.  All samples were doubled checked for labelling and sequencing before being placed in rice bags and shipped by truck from Snow Lake, Manitoba to Activation Laboratories Ltd (Actlabs) analysis facility located in Ancaster, Ontario.


Pegmatite samples underwent Ultratrace 7 analysis, a sodium peroxide fusion method for total metal recovery analyzed with ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry).  A total of 55 elements were reported for each sample.  Lithium was reported as ppm (parts per million) with a range between 3 and 10,000 ppm.  If a lithium result was greater than 10,000 ppm, an over-limit result was requested and the result was given as both Li% and Li20%.  Gold samples underwent Fire Assay with atomic absorption (AA) finish and were reported in ppb (parts per billion) with a range of 1-20,00 0ppb.


Lithium values are commonly reported as Li2O%.  The conversion formula for lithium oxide is:
